Our Electives program offers Young 5s/Kindergarten-12th grade students some of the very best educational opportunities available to students in Southeast Michigan.

A wide variety of academic and enrichment classes are offered in an atmosphere that is friendly, fun, and encouraging, with high standards for course content and student participation. Our classes challenge students to grow not only in their subject areas but also in “soft skills” essential to student success throughout K-12 and beyond.

RA also offers field trips and social opportunities throughout the year, as well as expert consultation to support families and build community.

Instructors are paid professionals and experts in their fields. RA is not a co-op, and parents are not required to teach or take on other extensive tasks. Families have minimal volunteer requirements or submit $100 per school year in lieu of completing Site Assignments (lunch supervision or take-down) a few times each semester.

RA is a drop-off program with trained staff on-site. Students are expected to maintain age-appropriate behavior.

Our group and classes are structured to ensure families with differing political and faith views feel comfortable and respected. We are not political and are neither a religious group nor a secular group.
